We reached the end this semester! For our final meeting we’ll be heading to Mimi’s café in Denver West to conduct elections for Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, and Secretary. There we’ll also be celebrating the upcoming graduation of our Seniors! Space is limited, so if you plan on attending, RSVP to carl.healy@csmrepublicans.org as soon as possible. Don’t worry if you lack transportation, we will carpool to Mimi’s from campus.
Obama in Boulder
As you may have heard, Obama will be speaking at CU next Tuesday. In response, the CU Republicans are organizing a rally to take place in Boulder while he’s there. Details for the event are in flux, but If you’re interested in attending, email carl.healy@csmrepublicans.org.
CFCR State Convention
The Colorado Federation of College Republicans State Convention will take place the evening of Friday April 27th and the morning of Saturday April 28th at the University of Denver. Unfortunately details regarding exactly when and exactly where have yet to be made available. This is a great opportunity to connect with college republicans from all over the state of Colorado, and we need delegates to represent CSM at the state level! If you plan on attending (and I VERY STRONGLY encourage you to,) then email carl.healy@csmrepublicans.org. Once again, we will be carpooling from campus.

Joe Coors w/ FREE PIZZA Mon. 4-16 5:00-7:00 PM AH 151
The semester is coming to a close and our last speaker for Spring 2012 will be none other than Joe Coors! Joe Coors is a familiar name in the Golden area as his great grandfather Adolph Coors started the Coors Brewery in 1873. With a degree in Math from North Carolina State University, Joe Coors has held a number of jobs over the years, including President and CEO of CoorsTek. Now Joe is running for congress in Colorado’s seventh congressional district, and he’ll be on campus this coming Monday!
So come by 5:00 PM next Monday, April 16th, to Alderson Hall 151 and meet Joe Coors! FREE PIZZA will be provided!

Next Monday, we’ll be viewing the film spOILed. Are we addicted to oil? Journalist turned media analyst Mark Mathis seeks to answer this question in the film. Along the way, while interviewing industry analysts, reporters, and elected officials Mathis also attempts to change what we think we know about oil.
So come on down to Alderson Hall 151 this Monday, April 9th from 5:00-7:00PM and get enlightened!
